Received a call about an individual having a mental health crisis trying to break into a residence on Carver St. Since no Brandon officers were on duty at the time, the Vermont State Police-Rutland responded to the home.
Alarm, Pearl St Brandon
Responded to a residential burglary alarm at a home on Pearl St. The house was later checked and appeared to be secure.

Animal Incident, Forest Dale Rd.
Responded to the area of Forest Dale Rd. near Churchill Rd. for a report of a cow in the roadway. The area was checked by the responding officers, but the animal was not located.
Crash - Non-Reportable, Supermarket Dr.
A late reported hit-and-run motor vehicle crash that occurred in the parking lot of the Hannaford Supermarket was reported to the Brandon Police. The incident was documented for insurance purposes.

A wallet was reported as missing from the Hannaford Supermarket.
Welfare Check, Kendall Hill Rd.
A welfare check was requested by the assistant principal at the Otter Valley Union High School on a student. It was later determined that the student resided in the Town of Pittsford and the welfare check was forwarded to the Pittsford PD for investigation.
Juvenile Problem, Franklin St.
Received a complaint regarding a student at the Otter Valley Union High School that was found in-possession of a knife on school grounds.
Domestic Disturbance, Forest Dale Rd.
Received a call regarding a late reported domestic disturbance that occurred the previous evening on Forest Dale Rd. The complainant was advised as to her legal options regarding the incident.
Animal Incident, Church St.
Officers received a report of a dog on the loose on Church St. Officers located the dog and returned the dog to its owner.
Motor Vehicle Complaint, McConnell Rd.
Responded to the Citgo on McConnell Rd. regarding a suspicious vehicle that was loitering behind the business. The driver was later moved along without any issues.
Subpoena Service, Goldspink Ave.
Brandon Police were tasked with serving a subpoena on an individual on Goldspink Ave. The subject was later located by the Vergennes PD, which subsequently served the individual with the subpoena.

Officers served a subpoena on an individual on Arnold District Rd. on behalf of the Bennington County Superior Court.
Mental Health Issue, Rossiter St.
Officers responded to a mental health issue on Rossiter St. in which the resident had made comments on wanting to commit self-harm.

Received a call regarding an erratic operator in the area of Pearl St. and Conant Sq..

Received a theft of services complaint that occurred on Union St.

Responded to a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Hannaford Supermarket. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries, but refused transport to the hospital.
