PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPLY MOSQUITO LARVICIDES: On or after April 27th, 2026, the Otter Creek Watershed Insect Control District (OCW) will be applying ground and possibly aerial treatments of mosquito larvicides on surface waters in the towns of Brandon, Goshen, Leicester, Pittsford, Proctor, and Salisbury to control mosquito larvae populations. More info here.

PITTSFORD PROPERTY OWNERS:

Starting today through May 10th, residents who own property in the village are allowed to burn their yard waste which is typically prohibited. As a reminder though, you still need to contact Fire Warden Brad Keith to obtain a permit to burn in order to take advantage of this. Updated 5/1/2026.
