BRANDON, Vt. — In a tradition going on 15 years, the DBA (Downtown Brandon Alliance) will put flower pots on the sidewalks downtown for residents and visitors to enjoy all summer. A new design/color scheme has been chosen for this season's 250th celebration.

Through the hard work of town volunteers, the DBA plans, soil preps, plants, and places the pots throughout the downtown. We are very lucky that the merchants always come through with taking care of the watering all season. It literally takes a village!

The DBA is beginning their fundraising by reaching out to the community for financial support to help cover the cost of these beautiful pots. The total costs will be around $2,400 this year, which includes the fresh soil, fertilizer, soil moisture granules, and plants.

Want to help put the pots together? Volunteers are welcome. The pots will be planted and placed throughout town on Saturday, May 30 starting at 9:30 a.m.

To help cover the cost of these planting materials you can make a direct donation in the amount of your choice. All checks should be made payable to the "DBA" and sent to:

DBA Flower Pots, P.O. Box 361, Brandon, VT 05733.

Much appreciation to the Brandon community, which has always generously supported this project. Thank you for your support in any manner. The DBA looks forward to beautifying Brandon for the 2026 season!
