PITTSFORD, Vt. — Pittsford is a tiny town with a bunch of big hidden gems. One of these is the Pittsford Trail Network, of which one spur hosts the Sugar Hollow Disc Golf Course.

The disc golf course can be found at the Recreation Area, at 223 Recreation Road in Pittsford. The rec area also features a full-size basketball court, two tennis courts, two baseball fields, a softball field, open space, 28’x60′ picnic pavilion, picnic tables, playground equipment, swim area, restrooms, sand volleyball court, and walking/hiking trails. It is open year-round from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or until dusk (whichever is earlier).

Dale Christie had this to say about the disc golf course, which he visited on April 15:

Wednesday evening was a great night to be outside. The Sugar Hollow Disc Golf Course called me and my friends to the woods for some fun. It is a great course to play and we always enjoy the course. Sam Melnik (pictured) put on a show on the 18th hole showing how to throw a new look drive. It did end up in a tree, but was surprisingly good for the difficulty of the shot. We won’t talk about his score on that hole though :).”
